Before we start, I have a straightforward request for you. The Run Out Grooves is about endings, and I’ve been through a difficult one recently.
On Sunday, I will participate in Macmillan Cancer Support’s Mighty Hike, a half-marathon walk beside the Thames in honour of my late colleague and friend Helen. Helen was my boss during the pandemic, and sadly, whilst on maternity leave earlier this year, she passed away. She leaves her husband, young son, friends, family and colleagues with a gap in their lives. I would be very grateful for anyone who can throw some coins at us (not literally) to make the blisters more bearable.
